Formation Of a Business Concern may be:

• Proprietorship.
• Partnership.
• Private Limited Company.
• Public Limited Company.

Proprietorship Concern : As there is no Partners in this concern Proprietor Has to take Busines registration as per nature of business if he is carrying small industry first they may get registered with Small Scale Industries Departments and if he is in sales Vat registration has to be taken if the turnover crosses more than 40 Lakhs in a year.And if turnover Crosses more than 20 Lakhs and Below 40 Lakhs TOT (Turnover Tax) to be taken. If concern is in Services -Service tax registration has to be taken. and if there are employees are working in organisation Labour License registration(Shops and Establishment Act) is also to be taken and Trade License is must for every organisation. If the Concern is Industrial Services as per Industrial Act Registration has to be taken.

Example: A proprietorship Concerns carrying Business as Trader and turnover crosses more than 40 Lakhs and Labour is Engaged. ---> He has to take Vat registration ,Labour License Registration and Trade License From Local Muncipality and etc has to be taken.

Note: Proprietorship Concern does not have Company Pancard as There is no Partners in the concern . Hence no need to take Company Pan card. Pan in the name of the Concern Can get for Partnership Companies,Private Limited Companies, Public Limited Companies,Societies etc as there are more than one persons are involved in carrying concerns.

Documents Required for getting Registrations as a Proprietor:

Vat Registration: Two Photos, Office Electricity Bill, Rental or lease agrement, Stamp duty Challan as per Rental or lease agrement, Pan card, Ration card or Voter card or Driving License or Telephone Bill and Bank Statement.

Labour License Registration: Office Electricity Bill, Rental or lease agrement, Stamp duty Challan as per Rental or lease agrement, Pan card, Ration card or Voter card or Driving License or Telephone Bill and Appointment Letter of Employees.

Servicetax Registration: Office Electricity Bill, Rental or lease agrement, Pan card, Ration card or Voter card or Driving License or Telephone Bill and Bank Statement.

Iec Registration: Office Electricity Bill, Rental or lease agrement, Letter From Bank as Per Format Prescribed by Iec Department, Pan card, Ration card or Voter card or Driving License or Telephone Bill and Vat Registration Certificate or any other Business registration Certificate and DD as Prescribed by DGFT.

For Partnership Business Concerns:

For Registering as Partnership Firm: 1 Photo of Each Partner, Identification Proof and Address Proof, Office Electricity Bill and Rental Agrement.

Vat registration: Company Pancard, Partnership Deed, Firm Registration Certificate, Two Photos of Each Parnter ,Office Electricity Bill, Rental or lease agrement, Stamp duty Challan as per Rental or lease agrement, Pan card, Ration card or Voter card or Driving License or Telephone Bill of Parners and Bank Statement.

Labour License Registration: Company Pancard, Partnership Deed, Firm Registration Certificate, Office Electricity Bill, Rental or lease agrement, Stamp duty Challan as per Rental or lease agrement, Pan card, Ration card or Voter card or Driving License or Telephone Bill of Partners and Bank Statement and Appointment Letter of Employees.

Service Tax Registration: Company Pancard, Partnership Deed, Firm Registration Certificate, ,Office Electricity Bill, Rental or lease agrement, Pan card, Ration card or Voter card or Driving License or Telephone Bill of Partners and Bank Statement.

Iec Registration: Company Pancard, Partnership Deed, Firm Registration Certificate, 4 Photos of Managing Parnter ,Office Electricity Bill, Rental or lease agrement, Letter From Bank as Prescribed Format By DGFT, Pan card, Ration card or Voter card or Driving License or Telephone Bill of Partners and and DD as per DGFT Prescribed and Vat registration or any other registration Certificate of Concern.

For Private Limited Companies:

For Registering as Private Limited: 2 Photos of Each Director, Name of the Business, Office address, Pan card, and Address Proof Required.

Vat Registration: Company Incorporation Certificate, Company Pan ,Moa, Aoa, Office electricity Bill, Rental or Lease agrement,Managing Director 4 photos, Letter From Bank as per Prescribes Format By DGFT, Pan card, Ration card or Voter Card or Driving License or Passport or Telephone Bill of Directors and DD as Prescribed by DGFT.

Labour Registration: Company Incorporation Certificate, Company Pan ,Moa, Aoa, Office electricity Bill, Rental or Lease agrement, T, Pan card, Ration card or Voter Card or Driving License or Passport or Telephone Bill of Directors and Letter of Appointment of Employees.
